Has Carly Rae Jepsen’s dominance over the Hot 100 been so severe that she’s scared off all potential usurpers of the throne? She’s been on top for six weeks now—not an ungodly reign, especially considering it came off the back of Gotye’s eight-week run from earlier this year—but despite dropping in all three factor categories this week (radio play, digital sales, online streams), Carly still easily retains her #1 spot on the Hot 100, with Maroon 5 and Wiz Khalifa’s “Payphone” spending its fifth straight week in the runner-up position, and Katy Perry sliding up one position to #3 behind them with “Wide Awake.” (“Awake” climbs in streams and airplay, but dips in sales.)

That’s not to say that Carly Rae’s status at pole position is totally secure, however. Some big movers have approached from the south—most notably, Pink and Flo Rida. In the second week of release for Pink’s “Blow Me (One Last Kiss),” the pop star catapults from #58 all the way to #9, marking the singer’s impressive 12th solo top ten hit in the 12 years she’s been a regular in the US Top 40. With the song gaining dramatically in every relevant category, it should only continue to climb from here.

But when talking about impressive runs of top ten hits, there’s nobody more stunning than Flo Rida, a man who has now managed eight top ten hits (“Whistle” becomes the eighth this week, moving from #12-7) despite having no discernible talents or personality to speak of. All the dude has is hooks, hooks and more hooks, and that’s enough to keep him in the top ten with a disturbing consistency. “Whistle” is the third top ten hit off Flo’s Wild Ones album alone, and we’d guess it’s not even the last—super-catchy upcoming single “Let it Roll” seems destined for a similar fate, which would undoubtedly set Flo and Wild Ones pace for some sort of “Lowest Selling Album to Ever Spawn Four Top Ten Hits” distinction.

Next week, expect a big debut from Jason Aldean, whose “Take a Little Ride” currently sits at #1 on iTunes. Not nearly enough country (read: any) in the top ten these days anyway.
